In this chapterAthene turns Odysseus back into himself and Odysseus and Telemachus are reunited. They spend time together and rejoicing. After this they plan what they're going to do to the suitors. They decide that they're going to send Telemachus back to the palace where the suitors are at dawn and Odysseus will try to get into the palace dressed as a beggar. Telemachus will then hide all the weapons so the suitors cannot get to them. Finally, Odysseus will give Telemachus a signal to attack the suitors. Then Eumaeus tells the suitors that Telemachus is back. The suitors then have a meeting about how they're going to kill Telemachus. At the end of the chapter Athene has to change Odysseus back into the old man in order for their plan to work.
